PTAN Summer Session 2005

 

 

The Associations at PTAN conducted the “Summer Session 2005”, from June 1, 2005 to July 31, 2005.

 

The circulars were sent to all the members of the individual associations and details of the sessions were posted on http://www.ptan.org/2005/06/summer-sessions-during-june-july-2005_08.html for the general viewing. 

 

These sessions were attended by 134 teachers and were conducted as follows:

  

1.      Mathematics Association of Pakistan (MAP) conducted a Four day session on “Geometry & Creative Art” held from June 15 to June 18, 2005. The session was attended by 42 teachers and was facilitated by Mr. Abid Sohail, Humera Khizar, Nida Nazir, Kahkashan and (Workshop Coordinators) and MAP Team.

 

2.      Association for Primary Teacher (APT) and Pakistan Association for Inclusive Education (PAIE) conducted a three day collaborative summer session on "Tell me a Story – Sing me Song" from June 23 to June 25, 2005. The session was attended by 27 teachers and was conducted by Mrs. Anne Nagy A Canadian Teacher.

 

3.      Association for Social Studies Teachers and Educators (ASSET) conducted a three day summer session on “Resources Management in Effective Teaching” from June 29 to July 01, 2005. The session was attended by 26 teachers and was conducted by Bilquis Munaf, Misbah, Farah Huma & ASSET Working committee members.

 

 

4.      Health Education Association for Learners, Teachers, Health workers (HEALTH)) conduct    ed a three day summer session on “Tools for an Effective school health programme” held from July 12 to July 14, 2005. The session was attended by 23 teachers and was facilitated by Dr. Shabnam, Zohra Nisar, Parvaiz Pirzado and (Workshop Coordinators) and HEALTH Team.

 

5.      Science Association of Pakistan (SAP) conducted a five day summer session on "Teaching & Learning Science" from July 18 to July 22, 2005. The session was attended by more than 16 teachers and was conducted by the participants of the SAP Short coures.
