Special Academic Session

 

During this summer APT is pleased to announce a special academic session on TEACHING THROUGH MUSIC & MOVEMENT in Pre-Primary & Primary classes. This is being arranged on request of Institutional and Associate Members.

 

We would like to share that this session is open for any registered and non-registered members. Therefore teachers from any school can take part in expand their learning on Music & Movement. The session will be targeting on following content.

 

  • Understanding the concept of Music and Movement for early years training
  • Strategies for teaching Music and Movement
  • Exposure to innovative ways of teaching songs, poems through music
  • Integrating Music and Movement with different subjects
  • Developing low-cost musical instrument and classroom display
  • Designing plans for classroom teaching
  • Understanding early – learning concept through music (Science, Math, Social Studies, religion) 

 

We would like to remind our participants that we will accommodate only forty teachers for the session. This short course have a minimum fees of rupees 300/= only. The lunch and tea will be complementary for the participants.

 

Brief Introduction about Shakra Manan

 

  • Head of Montessori training center
  • Consultant and trainer for pre-primary and primary and specialized in Music and movement
  • Has done Montessori course from London
  • Has worked as a trainer in schools.
  • Has experience of more than 15 years
