PTAN Summer Session 2007

 

 

The Associations at PTAN conducted the “Summer Session 2007”, from June 1, 2007 to July 31, 2007.

 

These sessions were attended by 102 teachers and were conducted as follows:

  

1.      Mathematics Association of Pakistan (MAP) conducted a Five day session on “Connection between Algebra and Geometry” held from July 16 to July 20, 2007. The session was attended by 33 teachers and facilitated by Mr. Abid Sohail, Kahkashan Afzal, Syeda Rana Ahmed, Mohd Madni, Nida Madni and MAP Team.

 

2.      Association for Social Studies Teachers and Educators (ASSET) conducted a Three day summer session on “Effective Lesson Planning” from July 28 to July 30, 2007. The session was attended by 27 teachers and conducted by Ms.Rahat Joldoshalieva, Huma Ghaffar, & ASSET working committee members.

 

 

3.      Health Education Association for Learners, Teachers, Health workers (HEALTH)) conducted a three day summer session on “Helping Children to Learn More Effectively” held from July 18 to July 20, 2007. The session was attended by 25 teachers and facilitated by Dr. Shabnam Ahmed, Parvez Pirzado and Guest Speakers: Dr. Mughis Sheerani, AKUH & Dr. Romaina Iqbal, AKU-CHS.  

 

4.      Pakistan Association for Inclusive Education (PAIE) conducted a four day summer session on "Cooperative Learning in mainstream and Inclusive classrooms” from June 12 to June 15, 2007. The session was attended by 17 teachers and conducted by Raheela Waqar (Usman Public School), Dr. Kausar Waqar, Talat Azad and Committee Members.
